Each book measures 5.75" x 8.5" x 2.25". The dust jackets show wear with tears and missing sections. See photos. Both books are in excellent condition. Clean. Tight. Only very minor cover wear. >Meta Given's Modern Encyclopedia of Cooking: 1954. Seventeenth Printing. Ferguson and Associates. Chicago. 1702 pages. Six colorful pages of food! Very good condition. Slight wear to cover with the addition of a small .5" rip at the top of the spine. It was probably caused by trying to take it off a shelf by pulling with a finger. This is a big and heavy book and it is best to treat it so. Enough said. Old book plate on front endpaper. Back endpaper and last index page show wear. Some folds, minor rip and top corner missing.
