Brass Hair Comb Design Button in BBB:This very unusual brass button is pictured in The Big Book of Buttons 1991, Page 612 with a description on Page 613. "A Hair Comb, in the Spanish style, of brass applied to a flat, one piece brass, button, which is stamped with an allover 'wallpaper' design." Diameter .75". Loop shank plus four holes for stitching which may be part of the design. Excellent condition. Price: $20.00



Rare 1860s Household Corps French in BBB: This French military button is pictured in The Big Book of Buttons 1991, Page 734 with a description on Page 735. "Household Corps. Cent Guarde, Maison Militaire de L'Empereur, 1852-1870. One piece, convex brass with a birdcage shank; reverse blank. This type of construction was used on French military buttons during the 1860's." Diameter 7/8". Quality workmanship. Beautiful button. Excellent condition. As you can see in the photo the top left of this button has a dark area. The odd lines are from scan reflection. Set of 6 White Rose Glass Rhinestone Vintage Buttons: Lovely with great detail and real crystal, sparkling stones. Each white rose button has a diameter of about 7/8". Self shanks. Either celluloid or old plastic. Excellent condition. Price for 6: $22.00



   
"Opal" and Rhinestone Buttons: Each metal over plastic button has a diameter of .75". The "opal stone" has fire and flakes. The clear rhinestones are bright glass. Excellent condition. Price for fifteen: $15.00

18 Imitation Pearl and Glass Vintage Rhinestone Buttons: Quite pretty. Wonderful, very bright and sparkling glass stones are set in a pearl paint over plastic base. Each has a diameter of a bit more than 1/2". Domed top. Self shank. Excellent condition. HOLD



   
Vintage 1930's Greeting Card with Button Faces: The boy and girl have hand painted button heads. The card measures about. 5.25" x 4". It reads: "You've treated me so awful. I don't like you anymore. Button second thought I send this. Cause I'm really not so sore." Wonderful! Underneath is written neatly in ink: "I'm still waiting for that letter! Gene." Even more wonderful. The card is in good condition with a minor smudge, a small stain to the right of the ! and minor creases to the left hand corner. Price: $68.00
